Week of August 24, 2026
This is an exciting week in North Royalton — the 136th Annual North Royalton Community Festival kicks off Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Friday, August 28 on the City Green. If you've never been, it's the kind of small-town event that reminds you why community matters. There will be carnival rides, food vendors, live entertainment, and the whole neighborhood comes out for it. The parade steps off Friday at 3 p.m., followed by fireworks at dusk. St. Albert's is also hosting a community meal from 3 to 4 p.m. that same day. It's a wonderful way to connect with neighbors and celebrate everything that makes North Royalton special.

Fire 45 is one of those places that instantly feels like it belongs in the neighborhood. Owner Chad Trush put serious love into rebuilding this spot, and it shows — warm modern interiors, a lively bar side for catching the game, and a cozier dining area for date night or dinner with friends.
I'm partial to the Louisiana Chicken pizza (trust me on this one), but honestly, you can't go wrong starting with the crab cakes or the oyster appetizer. They also do a mean French onion soup and handcrafted cocktails — the pickle martini is more delicious than it sounds! Whether you're celebrating a closing or just need a night out after a long week, Fire 45 is the kind of place that makes you feel right at home.

I hope you made it out to the Community Festival this week — what a great turnout! As we turn the calendar to September, there's a lot to look forward to in North Royalton. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 12, when the Community Car Show rolls into Memorial Park from 4 to 7 p.m. It's a free event where neighbors gather to show off classic cars, enjoy some good music, and just enjoy a beautiful early fall evening together.
Then on Saturday, September 26, the City Green will host Fall Parkapalooza from 5 to 9 p.m. — live music, food trucks, and craft activities for the kids. It's one of those events that reminds me why I love this community. Bring a blanket, grab some dinner from a food truck, and settle in for an evening of live entertainment under the September sky. Both events are free and family-friendly, so bring the whole crew.

The 3 Spot is exactly the kind of place North Royalton deserves — a relaxed sports bar and grill where everybody seems to know somebody. It's been a staple on Ridge Road since 2012 and has this warm, easygoing energy that makes it perfect for everything from catching a Browns game to grabbing dinner after a long week.
I love that they have something for everyone — their wings come in a ton of great sauces, the burgers are solid (try the 3 Spot Burger if you're hungry), and the beer list is seriously impressive. Plus the staff is always friendly and the outdoor patio is wonderful when the weather cooperates. It's one of those spots where you walk in and immediately feel like you made the right choice for dinner. Whether you're celebrating an offer being accepted or just need a night out, The 3 Spot delivers.
